World Radio
Starting in 1971, World Radio was a magazine focused on amateur radio. It was based in the United States with its offices in Sacramento, California. The magazine was published monthly until CQ Communications purchased it in 2008 and combined with CQ VHF Magazine and Popular Communications under CQ Communications’ management. World Radio became an online publication and was renamed World Radio Online in 2009. The magazine had subscribers all over the world but had its primary audience in the United States of America and Canada, and it was written in English. The magazine’s editor was Richard Fisher and it focused on amateur radio.
