Mhz VS Khz

 


Higher-frequency waves have shorter wavelengths and carry more energy. That's why MHz waves are used for applications that require more bandwidth and faster data transfer rates, like high-speed internet and satellite communications. On the other hand, kHz waves are used for applications like AM radio, where a lower frequency is enough to transmit the necessary information. MHz and kHz measure the rate of oscillation or cycles per second of a wave. The main difference between them is their magnitude. One million Hz is equal to one MHz, while one thousand kHz is equal to one kHz. So, MHz refers to frequencies in the millions of cycles per second range, while kHz refers to frequencies in the thousands of cycles per second range.
