A special event called a total solar eclipse
will occur on April 8, 2024. This is a rare event that has not happened in a
while. During a total solar eclipse, the moon will move in front of the sun,
making it appear as nighttime during the day in some places. People in Mexico,
the United States, and Canada can see the entire eclipse, while people in other
parts of the world can see it partially. The eclipse will last about 5 hours
and 10 minutes, with the moon covering most of the sun's disk at one point.
This event is seen as a special moment.
