Es'hail 2 / QO-100 is a geostationary communications satellite
operated by Es'hailSat, the Qatar Satellite Company. It was launched into orbit
in 2018 and is located at the 26° East longitude position. It provides a
variety of services including television and radio broadcasting, internet
connectivity, and amateur radio communications. The satellite also features a
transponder for the amateur radio community known as the "QO-100" or
"Es'hail-2" narrowband and broadband transponder, which allows for
high frequency (HF) and very high frequency (VHF) communications.
