ARRL 10-Meter Contest

The ARRL 10-Meter Contest is an annual amateur radio contest organized by the American Radio Relay League (ARRL). The contest is specifically for communication on the 10-meter band, which is a portion of the radio spectrum allocated to amateur radio use. The contest is held on the first full weekend in December.

During the ARRL 10-Meter Contest, radio operators attempt to make as many contacts as possible with other operators in different regions of the United States and Canada. Points are awarded for each contact based on the distance between the two stations and the mode of communication used. Radio operators can participate in the contest as individuals or as part of a team.

The ARRL 10-Meter Contest is popular among amateur radio operators because it provides an opportunity to test their skills and equipment, to make new contacts, and to learn about different cultures and geography. It is also a way for ham radio operators to share their knowledge and skills with others and promote the hobby of amateur radio.
