Movin’ on was a series about a trucker (Sonny Pruitt) and his Co-driver (Will Chandler) traveling and their interactions with people. Due to the influence of the films, CB Radio merchandise was sold and marketed to children.

The film had such a great influence on truckers that the phrases ‘Do it like Pruitt’ and ‘Do it as Pruitt used to’ became common in the conversations of real truckers for years to come.
