DC and AC Current Voltage Amperage Power Energy Panel Meter LCD Digital Display Ammeter Voltmeter Multimeter

Measuring instruments that can measure multiple electrical properties are called a multimeter. Typically a multimeter can measure resistance, voltage and, current and can also be referred to as a volt-ohm milli-ammeter (VOM).
There are two major types of multimeters. The analog multimeter which uses a microammeter with a moving pointer for displaying readings, or the digital multimeters (DVOM, DMM), which has numeric displays and has made analog multimeters a thing of the past as they are more precise, cheap and, physically more robust than their counterparts analog multimeters.

Nowadays, there are various multimeters available in the market ranging in price, features, and sizes. They can be either very precise bench instruments or handheld portable devices with cheaper versions costing under $10 US or certified calibration models costing up to $5000 US.

Morning Group manufactures this model, and it has the following main features.

  • ·         Electrical parameter measurement function

It can measure a lot of different electrical parameters like Energy, Current, Voltage, Active Power, Power factor and, Frequency.

  • ·         Overload alarm function

If you exceed the preset power limit, you can set yourself the backlight, and power will flash simultaneously to give an alarm.

  • ·         Power alarm threshold preset function

Setting the limit of power threshold is available.

  • ·         Energy can be reset by using the key
  • ·         Store data when power off.

The device automatically stores data. The latest data will be stored automatically in case of abrupt power supply loss, so there is no need to worry about data loss due to power outages.

  • ·         One-Touch Control

The one-touch control button can control the backlight, preset power alarm limit, and reset energy.

  • ·         LCD Display

The display interface is a large LCD with 180° all-sight view and a blue backlight that can be toggled on and off manually. In addition, the LCD can display six parameters simultaneously.

  1. 1.       Energy (with a test range of  0 ~ 999kWh)
  2. 2.       Power ( with a test range of 0 ~ 22000W and a start measuring power at 0.5W)
  3. 3.       Frequency ( with a test range of 45 ~ 65Hz)
  4. 4.       Voltage (with a test range of 80 ~260V)
  5. 5.       Current (with a test range of  0 ~ 100A and start measuring current at 0.02A)
  6. 6.       Power Factor ( with a test range of 0 ~ 1PF)
