The performance of industrial equipment is vulnerable to small changes in temperature, and they need to be monitored and identified in time to avoid any catastrophic situations. Fluke infrared cameras offer high-resolution image capturing technology that captures all data points and even the smallest temperature changes. The high resolution allows the technicians to magnify the image and observe and diagnose the data points. The device also offers a built-in distance meter which makes it possible to get an in-focus image.

Basic Operations:

Capture Image:

1-      Power on the device and focus on the image.

2-      Pull the trigger to start the operation and, when done, release the trigger.

3-      This will freeze the image. 

Save Image:

1-      Capture an image using the steps mentioned above.

2-      Push the F1 button to capture the image.

Level and Span:

1-      Select the measurement option and navigate to level/span.

2-      Select manual for manual leveling.

3-      Now select the set level/span option.

4-      Using an arrow button to increase or decrease the level/span.

Spot Boxes:

1-      Select measurements and then navigate to spot boxes.

2-      Select the number of spot boxes.

3-      Using F2 select the size and then use arrows to increase or decrease the size of spot boxes.

4-      Again, push F2 to finalize the size.

5-      To move the spot size on the image again, use the arrow keys.

6-      Repeat for each spot size.

7-      After done select F1 to move back to the main screen.

Delta T Measurements:

1-      Select measurement and then markers.

2-      Now select the Delta T option from the menu.

3-      Select the center point now.

4-      You may also select a spot marked as a reference point here.
